VMAPP - Volcanic Margin Petroleum Prospectivity (2013 - 2016)

New understanding and training on volcanic margin deposits and processes for higher exploration success in frontier basins worldwide, offering key data examples from the Atlantic Margin of Norway (Vøring - Møre).

Eight companies participated in the first phase (2013 - 2016) of VMAPP.
Second phase (2018-2021) of the project is ongoing (VMAPP 2) and additional sponsors are welcomed.

Deliverables:

  • Five Core Modules (CM) training manuals and associated ppt’s
  • Five Research Modules (RM), pdf reports (9), ppt’s (3), and volcanic petrophysical database
  • VMAPP provided as both a hard copy box set and digital version

A 4 day introduction course/consultancy visit inclusive.
